The House
The Mermaid House is a fully equipped beachfront house situated on the most spectacular beach with white coral sand, surrounded by turquoise water and with stunning views. It is 5 min. drive from the airport and 10-15 min. drive to George Town – the main city on Great Exuma. The house consists of a Main House and an Annex.
Main House
The Main House is app. 2000 sq. feet and has a wrap-around deck of 1700 sq. feet with direct access to the beach. All rooms have central air conditioning and ceiling fans. The interior is Scandinavian style. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 ½ bathrooms (one with a bathtub) plus 2 exterior built in showers. The 2 master bedrooms – with large walk-in closets – offer magnificent views over the ocean and adjacent cays. All 3 bedrooms have brand new kingsize beds (2024). Sleeps 6 persons (cribs & a toddler bed for kids). All linen, towels & beach towels are provided. Large open extremely well-equipped kitchen.
There are high ceilings, large windows/doors towards the sea with panoramic views.
Annex
The Annex Building (600 sq. feet) has 2 bedrooms and a bath. A kingsize bed in the master bedroom and here also a nice guest bed – pulled out is also a kingsize bed. The other bedroom has 2 twin beds, that can easily be put together. Sleeps 6 persons. On top of the Annex you can enjoy a fabulous Top Deck (780 sq. feet) with dining table, lounge chairs, a sofaset a.o. The view over the Atlantic from here is stunning.
There is a washer/dryer in both the Main House and in the Annex.
Other
Adjacent to the Annex there is also a Shed with an extra fridge/freezer, toys, snorkeling gear, paddles for the kayaks and paddleboards etc. Both inside and outside you will find everything you would need to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. You shall only bring your personal belongings. Need any help or services, our house manager and other helpers will be pleased to support you.
