The Mermaid House is a brand-new fully-furnished beachfront house - completed January 2003. The house is located on a sandy beach in beautiful Tar Bay, 6 miles north of George Town overlooking the magnificent turquoise waters of The Exuma Sound. The Mermaid House is located on Great Exuma 5 minutes drive from the airport and only 10-15 minutes drive from George Town (Capital of The Exuma Islands).

The Mermaid House is about 2000 sq. feet and has a wrap-around porch. The deck facing the ocean is about 1000 sq. feet. The house has direct access to the beach.

The Mermaid House has central airconditioning and ceiling fans in all rooms. Scandinavian style interior.

The house has 3 bedrooms and 2½ bathrooms and 2 exterior showers. The house sleeps 6(8) people. Two master bedrooms with large walk-in closets. Both master bedrooms open up onto the deck and offers magnificent views over the ocean and the adjacent keys. One additional bedroom with cabinets and with a french door to the wrap-around porch.

Kingsize beds in all three bedrooms. One bathroom with bathtub and shower and one with a showercabin - both bathrooms have double sinks. All linen and towels are provided.

Large open kitchen, living, and dining area with high ceilings. The room has three large sliding doors that opens onto the deck and offers panoramic views of the beach, ocean and adjacent keys. The dining table seats 8. Comfortable living area with sleeping couch, armchairs, sattelite TV, DVD and stereo.

Fully equipped kitchen with "kitchen-island". Large fridge with freezer, stove with oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, coffeemaker, porcelain, glasses etc. The house also includes a laundry room with washer and dryer, toilet and a sink.
